Are you on the hunt for unique things to do in London this spring? Here’s an attraction that should be at top of your list: the Delight Media Art Exhibition.
Step inside this immersive art exhibition showcasing the beauty, culture, and ingenuity of the South Koran capital in ways never before seen. The exhibition is drawing to a close very soon – so grab your ticket before it’s gone for good!
What is the Delight Media Art Exhibition?
Delight is a modern art exhibition, with a twist. It’s a massive multi-format and multi-sensory experience hidden beside the Thames.
A fusion of tradition and technology, it’s a curation of light, sound, image, and space designed to truly immerse viewers in experiences of Seoul – from the mythological deities of its past to the chaotic neon beauty of its present. The curator encourages you to become part of the artwork – and, thanks to their use of projectors and mirrors, this is all too easy, making for some great photo opportunities.
Spread across two floors, housed in a giant warehouse, you’ll journey through 12 distinct zones. Here, different medias collide to transport you from the streets of London to the magical heart of Seoul, teaching you all about its past, present, and future. Prepare to be awed by the size and variety of these installations: from a room teeming with lanterns, to towering digital projections, to a giant moon that vanishes into a pool of water.
There’s even a companion app which lets you play an AR treasure hunt – just find and scan each of the 15 QR codes hidden throughout the exhibition. Find them all, and you can earn yourself a small prize at the end.

Highlights of the Delight Media Art Exhibition
A personal favourite was Zone 2: ‘631’. It’s a large room filled with hundreds of bright lanterns (631, to be exact), the mirrored surfaces making them seem like they stretch on infinitely. Watch as they cycle through shades of red and blue, reflecting the changes of light in Seoul.
Look out for Zone 9, too, where giant pillars stream with dozens of brightly coloured adverts. Enter this piece and let the myriad signboards flow over you. This instalment is meant to represents the city’s authentic voice, a part of the intricate web of urban narratives.

It will take you around an hour to visit all of the zones. Once you’re finished, why don’t you next door to Borough Market for some incredible street food, or check out the scenic Anchor pub for a pint.
